Itinerary Details

Day 01 – Pune / Mumbai and Pune / Mumbai – Shirdi
The holy 9 Jyotirlinga Darshan Yatra begins from Mumbai/Pune. Upon reaching Mumbai/Pune airport or railway station you’ll be greeted by our tour representative who then drives you down to Shirdi, the sacred land of the great ascetic Sai Baba. En route we visit the famous Bhimashankar Jyotirlingam of Lord Shiva. Seek blessings of the divine almighty which is set amidst lush greenery. The Bhimashankar wildlife sanctuary is another good option. This Jyotirlingam temple is situated on the Sahyadri hill region of Maharashtra. Legends have it that in order to destroy the demon; Tripurasura Lord Shiva had assumed the form of Bhima. Later he came to reside on this spot at the request of his devotees and other Gods. On reaching Shirdi, check into hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 02 – Shirdi – Aurangabad
Next day early morning we leave for Aurangabad after attending the morning Aarti at Sai Baba Sansthan Mandir of Shirdi. The duration is 2 hours 30 minutes by car from shirdi. En route we visit the Aundha Naganath temple of Lord Shiva. This temple is believed to be the first one amongst the 12 lord Shiva Jyotirlingam that our country has and is said to have been built by the eldest Pandava brother, Yudhisthira. Lord Shiva resides here in the form of ‘Naganath’ or the lord of the snakes. This temple of lord Shiva is located near the caves of ajanta and ellora. Despite being small, the temple attracts hundreds of devotees. After Darshan we head straight to Aurangabad, check into hotel and later proceed to visit the famous Ellora caves and Grishneshwar Jyotirlingam temple of Lord Shiva. The Grishneshwar temple features a splendid south Indian temple architectural style and is said to have come into existence under the initiative of Bhosale, a very pious devotee of Lord Shiva. In the evening come back to your hotel, take some rest and go for a stroll in the local markets. After that, we return to the hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 03 – Excursion to Parli Vaijnath
A sumptuous breakfast is waiting for you. Then we proceed for a short sightseeing of Aurangabad. The places we visit are Aurangzeb’s tomb, Bibi ka Maqbara, Alamgir mosque. Post sightseeing we set out for an excursion to Parli Vajinath temple of Lord Shiva. The Vaijnath temple at Parli village is an ancient Jyotirlingam shrine exhibiting the lord as a ‘Vaid’or doctor who is potent enough to heal all diseases. This Jyotirlinga is considered to be very powerful and is worshipped for health. The Pandits here are recommended to be avoided as they are very discouraging. This is a very peaceful temple which will allow you a hassle-free Darshan. You can also perform Abhishek here followed with an Aarti. After that, you can visit a Ganesh temple where the idol is without the trunk and hari tirth. After Darshan we return back to our hotel at Aurangabad for dinner and night stay.

Day 04 – Aurangabad – Nasik – Shirdi
Tuck in some toothsome breakfast to leave for Shirdi via Nasik, which will take around 2 hours’ 50 minutes by car. At Nasik we visit the famous Trimbakeshwar temple of Lord Shiva. This Jyotirlingam temple of lord Shiva carved out of black stone features a Swayambhu Shiva lingam. The lingam comes with a hollow cavity inside which resides three other lingams; that of the holy Trinity of Brahma – Vishnu – Maheshwar. Trayambakeshwar is an old temple situated there. You feel divine and positive vibration everywhere as soon as you enter the temple. You can also perform Abhishek of the lord here. The lingam here emanates ecstatic spirituality. The place is crowded throughout the year. After spending long hours in the divine place, now the time to head towards Shirdi. After Darshan at Trimbakeshwar, we drive straight to Shirdi and check into hotel for night stay.

Day 05 – Shirdi Darshan and Shirdi-Indore
Fill your stomach with lip-smacking breakfast and we set out for a short city tour of Shirdi and visit places like Sai Baba Samadhi mandir, Chavadi, Dwarkamai mosque. We also pay a Darshan at the one and only God Saturn temple of the country; Shani Shingnapur shrine belonging to Shani Dev. In the evening take a drive from Shirdi to Indore. It is preferred to travel at night by bus. It takes 5 hours’ 30 minutes approximately. Halt at Indore hotel and off to bed.

Day 06 – Indore – Ujjain
After reaching Indore in the morning, you are driven to Ujjain which is 45 minutes journey from Indore. On reaching check into hotel and later proceed to pay a visit at the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga temple of Lord Shiva. The lord here is worshipped as Mahakaal, the destroyer who had assumed that shape to destroy Dooshan, a wicked Demon. Mahakaleshwar in ujjain is revered as one of the shakti peetha. it is a thrilling experience to do a Bhasm Aarti. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 07 – Omkareshwar Darshan and departure to Ahmedabad
Next day we visit the auspicious Jyotirlingam temple of Omkareshwar. Omkareshwar temple opens at 5 am. We prefer to take the Darshan early in the morning. The temple stands on a very unique Island on River Narmada shaped like ‘Om’; the sacred Hindu symbol. Once you step on this divine land, you forget all your endeavors to reach here and get lost to the magnanimous aura that surrounds. You get a beautiful Darshan here and prefer to offer Abhishek to the Lord. Post Darshan at Omkareshwar temple, we leave for Ahmedabad of Gujarat by overnight bus.

Day 08 – Ahmedabad – Dwarka
Next morning we reach Ahmedabad from where you are driven to the holy city of Dwarka. This is a remarkable city and owes a wealth of attractions to explore. On reaching check into hotel and later proceed to visit the Dwarkadheesh temple of Lord Krishna. Dwarkadheesh temple makes one of the Chardham of the Chardham India circuit. At Dwarkadheesh temple lord Krishna is presented as the royal king of the city. A plethora of religious sites and historical treasures make it a perfect destination for even one day. You can visit Sabarmati Ashram, Jama Masjid, Kankaria Lake, Teen Darwaza, Swaminarayan Temple, and And Jain Temple. In the evening, back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 09 – At Dwarka
Next day we proceed for a short city tour of Dwarka, visiting places such as Beyt dwarka, Rukmini temple, Gomti ghat, Gopi talav. Post sightseeing we make an excursion to the Nageshwara Jyotirlingam. This temple of lord Shiva is at an hr’s drive from Dwarka. The temple presents Lord Shiva as ‘Naganath’; i.e. one who can offer respite from all sorts of poisons. We will see Nageshwar Temple there. Nageshwar Temple Darshan is a treat for the eyes. It is well-maintained and highly impressive. Cctv screens are placed for the devotees to have a watch at the rituals carried on while standing in a queue. In the evening back to the hotel to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 10 – Dwarka – Somnath – Gir
Next morning we leave for Sasan Gir en route the Somnath Jyotirlingam temple of Lord Shiva situated at Prabhas Patan in vicinity to Veraval. It takes 4 hours by road. Somnath temple is a vibrant place and the Darshan is worth a million. Somnath temple is a beautiful ancient shore temple belonging to Lord Shiva who resides here as the lord of the Moon God. Post Darshan at Somnath we drive straight to Gir, which is 50 kilometers from Somnath and check into the forest lodge post which we set out for a thrilling jungle safari tour of the Gir National Park; the one and only safe haven of the most endangered Asiatic lions. Back to lodge for dinner and night stay.

Day 11 – Gir – Ahmedabad and Departure
The last breakfast at girhas to be wholesome. We drive back to Ahmedabad and you are dropped at Ahmedabad airport / railway station where our representative sees you off and you head for your onward journey back home after successfully completing a real fulfilling tour.
