Jyotirlinga or ‘radiant cosmic columns’ of holy light symbolize the presence of Maheshwara or Lord Shiva amid mankind. There are 12 such Jyotirlinga scattered all across India.

Visiting all the 12 all at once may be difficult as they are scattered across different corners of the country. This 7 Jyotirlinga Tour Package will take you to at least 7 important Jyotirlinga occurring across North-Western India.

Itinerary Details

Day 01 – Arrive Jaipur and Jaipur to Ujjain
On reaching Jaipur, the starting point of the journey you’ll be greeted by our tour representative who then transfers you to station to board overnight train to Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh. Overnight in the train.

Day 02 – At Ujjain
Next morning on reaching Ujjain, you’ll be transferred to hotel. Check-in, freshen up and later proceed to visit the first of the Jyotirlingams of our tour; the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga. The temple here is steeped in religious as well as mythological significance. Back to hotel for lunch.
Evening is left at leisure to explore the markets of Ujjain. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 03 – Ujjain-Dwarka
Next day after breakfast we proceed to visit the famous Omkareshwar Jyotirlingam of Lord Shiva. This auspicious, ancient temple stands on a unique Om-shaped island. The archaeological, religious and mythical importance of this site is unparalleled. Post Darshan and Puja you may opt for an exhilarating boat ride on River Narmada. We halt for lunch at a congenial place and then proceed to station to board overnight train to Dwarka. Overnight in train.

Day 04 – On Train
Day 4 will be spent on the train entirely. Breakfast, lunch, dinner will be made available to you on board. Overnight in train.

Day 05 – At Dwarka
Next morning we reach Dwarka in the state of Gujarat. On reaching you’ll be transferred to hotel. Check-in, freshen up and later proceed to visit the famed Nageshwar Jyotirlingam. This Jyotirlingam is said to be the first among all others to appear on this earth. We can find a mention of this Jyotirlingam in some of our most ancient religious scriptures. We would take our lunch outside and by evening, return to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 06 – Dwarka-Veraval
Day Next morning, we visit the famous Dwarkadheesh temple. Though not a Lord Shiva Jyotirlingam, the temple is indeed a must-visit when you are at Dwarka. It belongs to Lord Krishna, the ‘ruler of Dwarka’ and is one among the four Chardham sites of the All-India Chardham circuit. Post Darshan at Dwarkadheesh, you’ll be transferred to station to board overnight train to Veraval. Overnight in train.

Day 07 – At Veraval-Somnath-Aurangabad
Next morning we reach Veraval. On reaching check into hotel and later proceed to visit the Somnath Jyotirlingam temple on the shore of Saurashtra. This temple is a legendary one as it has stood the test of time even after surviving several attacks from the Muslim invaders. Post Darshan at the temple, return to hotel to pick luggage and check out. Go to station to board overnight train to Aurangabad. Overnight at train.

Day 08 – At Aurangabad and Aurangabad-Nasik
Next morning we reach Aurangabad. On reaching you are transferred to hotel. Check-in, freshen up and later proceed to visit the famous Grishneshwar Jyotirlingam located in proximity to the historic Ellora caves. According to Shiva Purana, Grishneshwar Jyotirlingam is the last among the 12 Jyotirlingam that our country has. Post Darshan, we return to hotel, pick luggage, checkout and depart for Nasik Road by overnight train. Overnight in train.

Day 09 – At Nasik Road
We reach Nasik road early in the morning. You are transferred to hotel post reaching. Check in, freshen up and later proceed to visit the Bhimashankar Jyotirlingam. This ancient lord Shiva temple stands amid a serene ambiance characterized by rich foliage. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 10 – At Nasik Road
Next morning we proceed to visit another important Jyotirlingam; the Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlingam. This lord Shiva temple’s origin is closely linked with that of Godavari River. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 11 – On Train [Nasik Road-Jaipur] Next morning we board train for our return journey to Jaipur. The rest of the day and night is spent on board.

Day 12 – Jaipur Departure
Next morning we reach Jaipur. Our representative sees you off at the station and you depart for your onward journey back home, taking back with you a spiritually enlightened soul.
