Itinerary Details

Day 01 – Arrive Mumbai and Mumbai-Rajkot
Upon your arrival at Mumbai, you’ll be greeted by our tour representatives who escort you to the station to board the overnight train to the city of Rajkot in Gujarat. Overnight in train

Day 02 – Rajkot-Dwarka
Reach Rajkot in the early morning and then drive towards Dwarka; one of the sacred Chardham and ‘Sapta Puri’ that any devout Hindu craves to visit at least once in his or her lifetime. Check into hotel at Dwarka and later proceed to have a Darshan at the renowned Dwarkadhish temple of Lord Krishna and the revered Nageshwar Jyotirlingam of Lord Shiva. Dwarkadhish temple enshrines the idol of lord Krishna in his royal avatar while Nageshwar Jyotirlingam presents Lord Shiva as the omnipotent ‘Nagnath’; i.e. one who can destroy the ill effects of all types of poisons. Back to hotel at Dwarka for dinner and night stay.

Day 03 – Dwarka-Somnath
Next morning we leave for Somnath near Veraval. On reaching check into hotel and later proceed to have a Darshan at the famous Somnath Jyotirlingam temple of Lord Shiva. Myths tell that this beautiful Shiva shrine was built by the moon god to please lord Shiva. After partaking in the evening Aarti at the temple, we return to hotel for dinner and night stay

Day 04 – Somnath-Ujjain
After attending morning Aarti at Somnath temple, we will move to the station to board overnight train to the city of Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh. Overnight in the train.

Day 05 – Ujjain-Omkareshwar-Ujjain
On reaching Ujjain next morning, you’ll be escorted to hotel first. Check in and relax for sometime post which we proceed to visit the famed Omkareshwar Jyotirlingam temple of Lord Shiva that stands with all majesty on a uniquely shaped island on the Narmada river. The island resembles the holy symbol of ‘Om’ in shape. After Darshan in Omkareshwar we drive back to hotel in Ujjain for dinner and night stay.

Day 06 – Ujjain-Haridwar
Next morning we pay Darshan at another important Jyotirlingam at Ujjain; the temple of Mahakaleshwar. This form depicts lord Shiva as the ‘destroyer of evils. Next we visit Shakti Mata and Bhairav Baba after which we return to hotel for rest. In the evening we move to station to board overnight train to the city of Haridwar. Overnight in the train.

Day 07 – At Haridwar
We reach Haridwar next morning. Haridwar is a holy city of Uttarakhand dotted with numerous ancient temples. We check into hotel, freshen up and rest for some time. Later proceed to visualize the famed Ganga Aarti at Har-ki-Pauri Ghat during the evening. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 08 – Arrive Haridwar-Guptakashi
Next morning we leave for Guptakashi. On reaching we check into the hotel and later proceed to visit the sacred Ardhanarishvara temple of Guptakashi. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 09 – Guptakashi-Sonprayag-Kedarnath
Next day we leave for Sonprayag. On reaching we start our arduous 14kms trek towards Kedarnath Dham via Gaurikund. On reaching check into hotel and later proceed to have a Darshan of Kedarnath ji at the much revered 8th century old Kedarnath shrine. After attending Aarti at the shrine we return to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 10 – Kedarnath-Sonprayag-Rudraprayag
Next morning we trek our way back to Sonaprayag after attending the morning Aarti at Kedarnath temple. From Sonaprayag we head for Rudraprayag and on reaching check into hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 11 – Rudraprayag-Haridwar-Varanasi
Next morning we drive back to Haridwar and on reaching, you are transferred to station to board overnight train to Varanasi. Lunch and Dinner served en route. Overnight in train.

Day 12 – At Varanasi
On reaching Varanasi, one of the holiest cities of North India next morning, you’ll be escorted to hotel. Check in and rest for some time and later in the evening proceed to view the mystical Ganga Aarti at Varanasi’s famed Dasaswamedh Ghat. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 13 – Varanasi-Jasidih-Deoghar
After Darshan and Aarti at the Kashi Vishwanath Jyotirlingam shrine of Varanasi plus Darshan at Varanasi’s Sankat Mochan temple, we move to station to catch a train to Jasidih. On reaching Jasidih, we make a by-road journey to Jharkhand’s Deoghar city. On reaching, check into hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 14 – Deoghar-Kolkata-Chennai
Next day early morning we proceed to visit the Baba Baijnath Jyotirlingam shrine of Lord Shiva. At this shrine the lord is extolled as a Baidya; i.e. a doctor who can heal the ailing. After partaking in the Abhishek Puja and morning Aarti, we move to station to board train for Howrah [Kolkata]. On reaching Kolkata, we switch to another train that takes us to Chennai. Overnight in train.

Day 15 – Chennai-Rameshwaram
Next morning we reach Chennai. You can freshen up and take some rest in the station waiting room. Later during the day we catch a train to the holy town of Rameshwaram. Overnight in train.

Day 16 – At Rameshwaram
On reaching Rameshwaram, you are escorted to hotel. Check in and live the rest of the day amid leisure and rest which is badly needed to soothe your soar, aching muscles. Dinner and night stay in hotel.

Day 17 – Rameshwaram-Madurai
Next morning we proceed for Darshan at the Ramanatha Swamy temple standing atop the Rameshwaram island into the sea. Ramanatha swami Jyotirlingam is said to have been established by lord Rama in order to get blessed by lord Shiva and free himself of the sin of Brahma Hatya; i.e. the one he had committed by killing Ravana. Post Darshan we hit the road for Madurai. On reaching check into hotel and later in the evening proceed to visit the famous Meenakshi temple of Madurai; an architectural marvel belonging to Goddess Parvati. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 18 – Madurai-Pune
Next morning post breakfast we move to Madurai station to board a train for Pune. Overnight in train.

Day 19 – At Pune
Next morning we reach Pune and check into hotel. The entire day is left to you to spend at leisure and rest in an optimum way. The evening can be made use of for some exciting shopping experience. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 20 – Pune-Bhimashankar-Trimbakeshwar
Next morning we drive to Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlingam of lord Shiva at Nashik in Maharashtra and en route visit another Jyotirlinga shrine; the Bhimashankar cradled amid the picturesque locale of Sahyadris. On reaching Trimbakeshwar check into hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 21 – Trimbakeshwar-Nashik-Shirdi
Next morning we proceed for Darshan and Puja at the Trimbakeshwar shrine of Lord Shiva followed by a short Nasik Darshan tour. The places covered during this tour are Sita Gufa, Kapileshwara temple, Kalaram temple and Panchvati. Post Nasik Darshan, we head straight to Sai Baba Leela Sthal Shirdi. On reaching check into hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 22 – Shirdi-Shani Shingnapur-Aurangabad-Hyderabad
Next morning after partaking in the Kakad Aarti at the temple of Sai Baba we leave for Aurangabad en route Shani Shingnapur where we visit a temple dedicated to Lord Saturn or Shani dev. After Shani Shingnapur Darshan, we proceed towards Aurangabad and visit the lord Shiva Jyotirlingam shrines of Aundha Nagnath and Grishneshwar. Post Darshan we move to the station to board overnight train to Hyderabad. Overnight in train.

Day 23 – Hyderabad-Srisailam
On reaching Hyderabad next morning we leave for Srisailam. On reaching, check into hotel and later proceed for Darshan at Srisailam Lord Shiva shrine; the Mallikarjun Jyotirlinga enshrined in an architecturally ornate east-facing temple. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 24 – Srisailam-Hyderabad and Departure
Next morning we drive back to Hyderabad and you are dropped at the airport/station where our representative sees you off and you proceed for your onward journey back home carrying with you a deeply satiated heart and purified soul.
